So Who is Aidan Bindoff and Why Should I Listen To Him?
Aidan started off as a cat person but was soon won-over by a big, slobbery Golden Retriever puppy, thus making him something of a dog person too.

His dog training career began when said slobbery puppy developed an allergic reaction to traditional obedience training, so Aidan started researching less confrontational training methods.
He began by clicker training his two cats, who were able to perform a handful of simple tricks and would come when called.
Later he ended up with an aggressive dog and made every mistake in the book trying to bring her under control. Finally, he settled on a basic (but evolving) approach which has worked well for him and for many others who he has shared this approach with. Each summer he runs a project that aims to treat serious behavior problems such as dog-dog aggression, or predatory aggression (e.g attacking people on bikes).
Aidan is the editor of Positive Petzine, author of The Positive Petzine Collection, a regular writer for Karen Pryor's clickertraining.com, and has been published all over the web and in dog club newsletters around the world. He also runs the Yahoo "Training Levels" group.
As a writer, Aidan is known for presenting complex behavior theory in an engaging and easy to understand manner that is relevant to today's dog owner. His grasp of behavioral science is recognised amongst his peers, and his articles on the topic are amongst his most widely published.
Aidan lives in Tasmania, Australia, with his family and enjoys walking his dogs in the bush or along the coast, playing guitar and piano, sailing and kayaking, rugby, and powerlifting.
